WEEK in, week out, there’s never a dull moment at Artisan, where every day there’s something going on to whet your whistle or tempt your tastebuds.
MONDAY
Mugshot Mondays mean free use of Artisan’s vintage photobooth all evening – make it snappy and post your pics to social media with the tag #mugshotmonday and you could be in with the chance of winning a bottle of fizz for your next visit. There’s also 40% off food, so you can be sure you won’t go hungry either!
TUESDAY
Two days in and any excuse to escape the office at lunchtime – Artisan’s excellent value Express Lunch is perfect. With a starter, main course and glass of wine, beer or soft drink for just £10.95, it’s a gift. Need to get back to your desk? Ask for your starter as a side dish, and order a dessert and coffee to grab and go.
WEDNESDAY
Wood-fire Wednesday sees Artisan’s unique ovens fired up and pizza friendly. Just the antidote to hump day – you don’t even need to use a knife and fork. On virtuous days, we like goat’s cheese and balsamic beetroot with avocado, wild rocket, mozzarella and tomato. The rest of the time, it’s pizza carbonara all the way.
THURSDAY
You’re nearly there, so thank Thursday for Thirsty Thursday, and Artisan’s after-works drinks offers to tempt you from 5pm. Think two of their cracking cocktails for a tenner or maybe a pint of Krušovice Czech Pilsner-style beer for just £3.50. Fill your boots!
FRIDAY
Friday’s here and, to celebrate, the drinks specials are on all day and throughout the evening, with two-for-£10 cocktails and pints of Krušovice premium lager for £3.50. There’s a live acoustic set from around 7pm, featuring a different group every week, then a DJ later on so you can start the weekend off in style.
SATURDAY
Take Saturday in your stride, and treat yourself to a proper sit-down meal with friends or family. From salads to steaks, you’ll find something to suit – we’re ordering either the mussels baked beneath a pizza crust or the garlic-roasted chicken, both served with Artisan’s finger-licking fries. We’ll probably stay for the band and DJ too…
SUNDAY
Sunday wouldn’t be Sunday without a roast, and Artisan knows how to put out a good plate. Pick from beef, pork or chicken, all dished up with roast tats, buttered carrots and swede, savoy cabbage, Yorkshire pud and gravy. Relaxed yet rejuvenating, it’s great for getting things underway again.
