Opening on Thursday 27 April, Roxy Ball Room will launch with four days of free gaming

Bar, diner, games room… clearly unable to decide on one identity, Roxy Ball Room dabbles in all three. Considering Manchester will be the brand’s fourth destination (followed by a Nottingham branch this summer), the hybrid approach is clearly working.

Not willing to rest on its laurels, however, the Leeds export has announced its arrival in Manchester will be accompanied by a weekend of free gaming. Visitors can sign up for an hour session on any date between 27 and 30 April, taking advantage of games from beer pong to pool.

A more unusual offer will be UV ping pong, an exclusive to the Manchester bar. The largest Roxy so far, this will occupy a two-storey space at 76-78 Deansgate above La Tasca. The 360-capacity venue includes two VIP rooms, tournament room and private games hire for groups up to 60.

We’re told the ‘high energy concept’ will also include an indie playlist, craft beers, signature cocktails, pizza and burgers (not heard that one before…)

Director Matthew Jones said, “Sport and music aside, I’ve always associated Manchester with a cracking night out, so it will be an absolute pleasure to be a part of the thriving bar scene. We’ll be christening the newest Roxy with four days of free gaming so bring your A-game, Deansgate!”

Roxy Ball Room launched in Leeds in 2013 and has since opened sites in Liverpool (2016) and Huddersfield (2016). Roxy Ball Room Nottingham will open summer 2017.
