WITH premier league footballers frequenting the luxury rooms and the likes of Lady Gaga and Rihanna laying their superstar heads on the plush pillows, The Lowry Hotel has decided to match its five-star offering with a lavish spa upgrade.

There will be much available to keep the body in 'tip-top condition' with ‘highly effective treatments styled to contour, firm and hydrate'

As part of its fifteenth anniversary, The Lowry Hotel is currently sprucing up its resident spa with a reported six-figure makeover.

The 6000 sq ft space, relaunched as !QMS Skin Spa, will boast six expansive treatment rooms (including a private couples suite), two relaxation rooms, sauna facilities and a dedicated manicure and pedicure area - additionally to treatments from world-renowned clinical beauty brand, QMS Medicosmetics.

Best known for its collagen boosting anti-ageing treatments, QMS will be showcased for the first time in the UK’s hotel sector.

Following the summer relaunch, guests can anticipate a comprehensive collection of face and body treatments for both men and women. There’s also promise of an extensive selection of massage treatments and beauty services on the spa menu, including an interactive customised 'Spa Bar' that allows guests to create their own facial.

Also exclusive to the new spa will be a custom-created ‘Lowry Signature Treatment’ said to be ‘specially designed to suit both the location and the climate.’ What’s more, the indulgent facial will feature ‘an advanced oxygen technique in combination with intense hydration.’

The treatments certainly sound intensive and it'll be interesting to see how the relaunched spa matches up against The Midland's recent £1.5m spa upgrade with The Spa At The Midland.

The Lowry Hotel's new spa has also teased that there will be much available to keep the body in 'tip-top condition' with ‘highly effective treatments styled to contour, firm and hydrate from top to toe.’ Complementing these treatments is the full collection of QMS skincare for the face and body, which will be available exclusively in Manchester at the spa’s boutique.

General Manager, Adrian Ellis, said: “The launch of the !QMS Skin Spa is another exciting milestone for The Lowry Hotel in 2016, as we celebrate our fifteenth anniversary year.

“QMS Medicosmetics was handpicked by our expert spa team, as the brand shares our vision to design an outstanding city centre spa experience and, through this partnership, we plan to be at the forefront of the next generation of hotel spas.”

“Highlights of the !QMS Skin Spa treatment menu include the bespoke Signature Treatment, the advanced anti-aging Collagen Rejuvenation, restorative Skin Cell Renewal and skin enhancing Pure Oxygen facials, as well as an interactive customised Spa Bar that allows guests to create their own facial. “

Dr. med. Erich Schulte, founder of QMS Medicosmetics, added: “It is an honour to have partnered with The Lowry Hotel in the creation of the first !QMS Skin Spa located within a hotel. In developing this contemporary concept, it was important to bring together an enjoyable and relaxing spa experience with a treatment menu that reflects today’s desire for results.

“We worked closely with the spa team to develop a handpicked selection of signature face and body treatments, along with tailored offerings ideally suited to the hotel.”
