RED hot chilli peppers are quite a feature on the menu at Chilli Banana – and this even extends to the beverages! Check out the drinks list’s Thai Specials and you’ll spot the heat in there – the My Thai is the Chilli Banana cocktail, and it starts with a crushed red chilli.

Add to this orange-flavoured Grand Marnier then Havana white rum, muddle in the juices of fresh lime and pineapple, and slosh in a generous helping of coconut milk, and you’ve got a real taste of the exotic. Perfect for the Thai restaurant with an edge on the competition!

Watch as Chilli Banana’s Didsbury mixologist gives the whole lot a darn good shake with loads of ice, then strains the creamy concoction into a cube-filled tumbler with our name on it – but not before the final flourish: a whole red chilli garnish, balanced on the side of your glass.
