Manchester Hall welcomes guests to eight new stylish boutique bedrooms in the heart of the city.

Thanks to a multi million pound refurbishment and eight beautiful new boutique bedrooms, Manchester Hall, which often does not get the attention it deserves, is fast becoming the city's best kept secret. Manchester Confidential paid the new rooms a visit.

Manchester Hall is one of the most beautiful, iconic and yet undiscovered buildings in the city and thanks to a multimillion pound refurbishment it is now a perfect place to stay overnight. Visitors to the city may not immediately think of Manchester Hall when they plan a city stay but with eight beautiful boutique bedrooms it is often described as Manchester's best kept secret.

Each of the enchanting bedrooms within Manchester Hall are aptly named after some of the city's most historic icons, including suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst, scientist Alan Turing and Percy Scott Worthington who designed the architecture of the original Freemason building in 1920.

Manchester's well loved symbol the worker bee can also be spotted throughout the bedrooms – embroidered on the cushions, in the art work and even in the opulent honeycomb patterned wallpaper, adding a touch of ethereal charm and a further nod to the city’s rich cultural history.

Attention to detail is second to none and from the en suite bathrooms, lounge area, roll top baths and soft lighting every detail radiates luxury. Decorated in a palette of tasteful, soft hues the tranquil rooms exude a sense of peaceful calm and well being. Although a handy ‘secret’ exit from the rooms to glamorous bar and late night club Vanitas, located on the ground floor, allows that peace to be shattered for anyone excited about experiencing Manchester night life.

Manchester Hall offers a unique and sophisticated venue in which to tie the knot and brides who stay on the eve of their wedding can enjoy a number of well thought out benefits. These include adjoining bedrooms where they can be close to their parents or children should they wish to be and the convenience of on hand hair and beauty professionals. The Hall also offers a wedding planner to make sure the day runs like clockwork.

All eight bedrooms from the Royal Suite to the Junior Suite can be made uniquely available to the bridal party and with their elegant furnishings, high ceilings and period features they are guaranteed to set the perfect tone for such a special day. As well as having 11 function rooms available, all enjoying rich architectural detail, Manchester Hall also has a more informal restaurant Masons which, while more relaxed, loses none of the building's signature charm.
