Drighlington's award-winning restaurant is popping up at The Tetley

You need to get February 27th in your diaries and get booking now, because this doesn’t happen very often.

Prashad, aka the best high-end Indian restaurant in the whole of Yorkshire, is bringing its award-winning food to the city centre for one night only.

We're looking forward to what should be a really special night

The special evening will take place at The Tetley, offering an exclusive five-course tasting menu, including three kinds of bhaji, paneer and aubergine curry and the Diwali favourite, Ghoogra.

Now based in Drighlington, Prashad is originally one of Bradford’s finest, opening over a quarter of a century ago. And Minal, the head chef and daughter-in-law of original owners Kaushy and Mohan Patel, has kept standards high, scooping a Michelin Bib Gourmand, a runner-up spot on ‘Ramsay’s Best Restaurant’ and a nomination for this year’s Oliver awards.

Bobby Patel, the owner and front of house, said, “We are very excited to be bringing our fine dining concept into the heart of Leeds. Minal's menu is high-end Indian dining, providing unexpected hits of flavour and spice throughout, all carefully balanced and curated. We're excited to be serving up in The Tetley too; their arts space is inspirational. We're looking forward to what should be a really special night.”

The takeover, which will take place in the restaurant inside the famous old brewery, will be an evening of Gujarat vegetarian food, with vegan options also available. And with only two sittings at 6:30 and 8:30pm, you can expect tickets to sell out extremely quickly.
