Hope you like Indian street food...

The city centre’s Park Row is getting a bit of an upgrade in the restaurant department. No, not another Italian chain from a celebrity chef who’s spotted a gap in the market; the popular and much-loved Indian Tiffin Room.

Starting off in Cheadle back in 2013, Indian Tiffin Room and its menu of fresh-made dishes from all regions of India became an instant hit with locals and critics, including our buddies over at Manchester Confidential (review here), The Good Food Guide, and even Daily Mail food writer and occasional Confidential contributor, Tom Parker Bowles - read here.

Planning permission has been approved for the listed building 31-32 Park Row, which is currently where Wagamama has lived out its numbered days since the new one opened in Trinity Leeds. Before the changeover, new raised seating area and bar will be built, under the provision of preserving the special character of the premises.

An date hasn’t been set for the opening of the 100-seater restaurant, which is expected to create 25 permanent jobs, but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out. You’ll have to just perv over pictures of their food for now:
