The A-list-approved fitness phenomenon has landed in Manchester - but does it deserve the hype?

Barry's Bootcamp - the high-intensity, Hollywood A-list-approved workout favoured by the likes of the Beckhams, Jake Gyllenhaal and Ruth Wilson recently launched a brand spanking new studio in Manchester - and it's all we've been hearing about.

Combing slick facilities, superfood smoothies, low red (who said Amsterdam?) lighting and a throbbing club soundtrack, the international fitness brand - started over twenty years ago in Los Angeles - opened its first UK studio outside of London in the ABC Building on Lower Byrom Street in December.

Not ones to dip out of a challenge (or a chance to get out the office for a couple of hours) we accepted an invitation to give the global wellness phenomenon a go - watch the video above to see how we got on.

Find Barry's Bootcamp at 3 Lower Byrom Street, Manchester, M3 4BJ - prices start at £18 per class, while monthly memberships start from £192 (see prices here).
